I read about this the other day in a magazine an thouht i'd stick it on here.
I don't know where it is (probably Tokyo, and so a bit far to go, but there might be some good stuff on the site??), it's on later this month anyway.

Yeah, I hear about these events every few months as the JAL (Japanese Airlines, soon to go bust unfortunately) tend to put some pretty good package deals together which usually includes the return flights, a tour of Tokyo, a tour of Kyoto, the festival itself and then just a mooch around for the last day....all lasting a week.
I know a few people who have gone for it in the past but i've never really thought about this option as i'm not as interested in anime, so it'd be a bit of a waste going for a package deal where i'd have to spend a day at an anime exhibition with a load of girls dressed in cosplay....well, maybe it doesn't sound all bad.
They do have a sumo package though....haha....much more my cup of chobe.
SUMO !?!?! I'd be well up for seeing some of that. Let's book it !!
