as we hurtle ever faster towards the end of term, it's time for me to get out my abacus and work out the monthly league table standings again.
it looks like it's turning into a two horse race for the title, as kitty and rob have put a bit of clear blue water between themselves and karl, who's still leading the chasing pack.
complaints, protests and "i wrote six reviews last week. where are my points?" rants to the usual address, please:

Hmmmm.....is there any way of viewing our own individual posts separate from the group? ...if there is then I haven't found it...yet.
The reason I ask is because over the last few months I've been hearing 2nd years applying for the top-up year talk about the requirement of a digital blog, I'm just thinking ahead...so if there is no way to seperate then I'd need to double post to a personal blog aswell.
I have created my own personal blog Rob and I feel that it is more effective. I would suggest that, just so it is there for if you do need it.
Ps Rob, I dont see us as racing - we should join together and make one big amazing team aha!
MMU have been asking for a digital blog/portfolio as a pre-screening tool to decide who gets an interview. it's got to be anonymous [just badged with your UCAS no.] and only contain 12 images & 300 words, so it wouldnae be possible to directly filter out your posts from the PDP and send them that, as it wouldnae meet the requirements.
that said, having a load of stuff in your PDP will at least give you plenty of ammo to cherry pick from. in fact, coincidentally enough, i've written about this during last month's league table round-up.
that aside, it does seem really obvious that you should be able to filter posts by author on a multiple-author blog like this but, believe it or not, there is currently no way to do it. it's one of the 'how the hell can they have missed that out?' features that i went a-lookin' for soon after we set up the blogs - and found several zillion other people on blogger's support forums likewise expressing amazement that it wasnae built-in.
until blogger get off their fat corporate arses and add this feature, here is the only workaround i can think of:
add your own name as one of the tags, each time you post and then you can use the ability to filter by tag, to display only your own posts.
of course, that still means going back and manually adding your name as a tag to all your existing posts.
bet you wish you hadnae been so prolific now!

BTW - rob. dinnae listen to kitty's propaganda about it 'not being a race' and 'wanting to work as a team'. i caught her pouring superglue into your keyboard last week, cackling like a mad thing and muttering something like "let's see how many posts you can type on this one..."
Ah...I think I understand, I just thought that they were wanting to see a regular blog that people had been writing over the course of year....backdated to when each example was created.
Oh yeah Kitty, forget racing....this is war!!
:D Hehe....nah, that's good to hear. We should collab at some point....hopefully you'll let me into your elite team when we do a group project!
